the Fileshack is running quite fast for me actually, although I don't know how good the EU server is doing. They cap this at 250KB/s for non subscribers, but I never get speeds that fast anyway. :roll:

It might be better with more players, but it seemed to me like you'd need teamwork and people to defend a bit (on a beef server? HA!)

Personally i feel cars and tanks, while sometimes annoying are essential on all the current beef maps.

This seems to be mostly true from what I saw last night. Infantry Only on Karkand was good but the long walks between flags and inevitable sniper whoring (I'm not innocent in that respect) did detract a little from the experience.

I'd like to see a map or two designed purely for infantry and no option for vehicles.

It was ... different. Not sure if that's good or bad yet, I'd like to try some other maps as Infantry only, or just get more players on Karkand (with proper teamwork.. and less claymores ;) )

And erm.. practice sniping.

1.4... still crashed, server broswer still crap, and it felt like I was playing on a Voodoo 3, WIN! :w00t:
