We've known about this for a while, but the official announcement has only just turned up. The third Stalker game is due for release this Autumn, and covers the events immediately following the end of Shadow Of Chernobyl. "Having discovered about the open path to the Zone center, the government decides to hold a large-scale military "Fairway" operation aimed to take the CNPP under control." Needs to say, things go awry. It falls to the player, as a Ukrainian security agent, to figure out what went wrong. Full details after the jump.

Which one does this follow on from, the first game? I dunno why, but the second one annoyed the piss out of me with its ejaculations so I don't know if I'll ever be bothered to play it and find out what happens in it.

I found the ejaculations quite annoying as well, but in my case that was because they were broken and kept happening over and over as soon as I crossed a certain spot. I had to load a previous savegame quite a few times.

And yup, the ejaculations were very broken in early clear sky.

I think it happened to me about 4 or 5 times in total throughout Clear Sky, no idea if this is what was intended or if mine was broke by not having enough.

I think it was fixed in the 2nd patch or so.

basically every time you left the big area with the trainyard into the freedom base area, there'd be an ejaculation, got a bit tiring.

They fixed it so well that one update removed them completely. :facepalm:

Still, more stalker is good. Play like the first, look like the start of the second plz.

If any game managed to start, run and quit in the sort of time it takes cod 4, it would get another star or two on any review I gave it.
