Anti-Spam stuff

Just out of interest, do people have to do the whole validating email address thing to sign up?
If not, i'd suggest turning it on, because it'll slow them down a bit, if not stop them

We are currently looking at installing a mod which should stop all the spam.
The account activation is set to none at the moment, and the other options are user, and admin.

user should make it require a legit address, which will stop a good deal of spammers with little fucking about
