Right ho. I've not searched the forum proper, but a google site search didn't throw up any results.

I'm after an entry level Digital SLR camera this/next pay day and am wondering if any of you photography types have any recommendations or handy hints (such as what to avoid, what to get with it etc.)?

My utter top price range is £350, but I could go higher if some sort of interest free buy now pay later deal was available. Any information would be gratefully received, and met with a pint. I intend to google my tits off, but I'm fucked after a 40+ hour 4 day week, so feeling lazy!
