Good call. Only an idiot lets the enemy dictate the terms of your war.

What Mittens failed to tell the BBC is that Something Aweful make it their purpose in life to ruin games for other people. This may have been a legit move for once, but Goons are still cunts.

is it ruining it or blowing it wide open? I've not played since last summer but have been considering a return. The power of the super-alliances was one of the things that made the whole thing a bit of a problem for me (not enough commitment to be involved enough to swing with a big alliance, but the game is tough to play part time)

Is it getting better or worse with the current situation?

and didn't this all happen like a month ago? What are all the EX-Bobbites up to?

Not really. BoB has re-branded themselves Kenzoku (family of friends in anime speak or something), but without sov are being hit hard all over Delve and I think to date have lost all their stations and POS's. I recon they'll probably downsize a bit, but this isn't the first time it's happened to them and they bounced back before.

Main problem I have with Eve is that it's simply too crowded now. Numbers have more than doubled in the last 2 years up to 50k or more people online at once and no significant new space to fill. With those sorts of numbers about, large alliance fleets are inevitable.
