Highly enjoyable, very different from other games, but still fun.
From Man-Stoper Bean Bag rounds, to CSball Paintball, to Stun Guns, Grenade Launched Battons, Ak's, m4's, mp5's, flashbangs, cs grenades, dum dum grenade. it is all fun. executing hossies especially!
Co-op mode is much fun, can be very demanding on teamworking.
also, opening door is fun, c4 and shottys

this man? he speak truth.
it really is very different to most FPS games - in swat you lose points for shooting the bad guys, this makes it fun and pretty dependent on tactics and teamplay.

All of the above. We played SWAT3 shitloads at uni. Got to the point where we had developed our own little "battle language" type thing, totally without meaning to.
Then we started using it in the pub, and we got funny looks

the only one I can remember off the top of my head was "yer arse!", meaning "look behind you, there is something of interest there".

Well you've twisted my arm.... I am aquiring *cough* SWAT 4 now. Also the The Stetchkov Syndicate addon.
I wont be playing it for a week or so - need to get good single player first.
But anyway, the reason I was posting was to offer NZBs for anyone who has usenet access. Just PM me if you want them.

ooo Berk, you leg end, I was just about to use an entirely legal application to see if someone had carelessly left a copy somewhere on the web.
I am quite looking forward to this in co-op, I hate having to faff around giving orders to squads in single player games like this.

Yes, it's much more fun to have real people ignore ones orders

Arf!
I generally find myself leaving them somewhere safe and doing the job myself. I am a rather inept tactician it would seem
