Hello, I thought it was about time I signed up here.
I wanted to let you know that I have a dedicated server with some spare bandwidth and processing power if you would like to make use of it.
Do any of you play Q3, Halo, FEAR or Q4?
Dave

I think FEAR gets some passing attention, and the quakes deserve some.

Hello there Dave!
None of those are regulars around here, but there's no reason why they shouldn't be if you can drum up some interest and schedule a game.
Welcome!

Howdo and welcomes.
I mentioned Quack3 fairly recently, and would definately be up for some shootings. Maybe Q4 aswell if I can find my copy (got a record of the key, just no disc

)

Goodo. What's the etiquette round here for new games? Is it ok to whore my own server(s)? My server already runs Q3 and FEAR, and I am in the process of adding Q4, Halo and GTA4 to the line up. Would I be treading on toes by doing that?

Excellent! I usually run the Excessive mod on Q3, but I also have Team Fortress if people prefer - or I suppose unmodded... hmm.
The Q3 server does have a shedload of addon maps and models, which I can make available to download seperately, as it's about 700MB IIRC.

Ok, I will sort my shit out and post server details later on. Hopefully nobody will have latency problems. I usually have a 20 to 50 msec ping to the server, which is in Germany.

haha, yes, I will be getting that at some point. I have to go steady, I have a nasty habit of buying games and then forgetting to install them, then discovering them months later.
