How bad is the need? I could make it, but I don't have a jump clone to leave my implants with, so my risk would be greater, also I'm not ISS, so there could be fun with that as well.

But I would love to help with a project like this, so let me know!

Upon further thought, I can't. I only have 2 complete weekends left with my son, I can't botch part of a Sunday because I'm tired out from getting up waaay earlier than needed. Also, my son tends to wake up early on the weekends to play Nintendo with me (somehow that's more bondingish than playstation). So I'd not be able to stay until DT. :( So sadly, I shall have to withdraw my offer of support until logistically more possible.

And Amblin's going to have trouble being up by 8?!?!?!

Dude, I'm looking forward to lunch by 8 am, having been at work for two hours and had breakfast all done and settled!

(But only on the weekdays, mind you... I like to get up early on the weekends to get a little EVe time in before the inlaw's and kids get up! :)
Also, before DT, which annoyingly happens at 6 am, which would be prime sleepy in time for me....

As Fea says, He's not a morning person. Don't argue this.

Not intending to argue, just such vast difference by comparison is all.

I also have a more stressful atmosphere at home, (assumption on my part) so getting up early is one of the few things I can control that benefits my situation. So I take full advantage when and where I can.

We're 5punkers, I see us as a Rag-tag group of vastly differing individuals that nonetheless come together and pull off insanity like mining for multiple ships in a few short hours, despite not planning a thing. People who will give up two full cans of ore to fly across space and help somebody finish a mission before the bonus runs out.

It's our diversity and our sponteneity, (again, imho) that makes us the unique group that we are. And I am VERY proud to be part of it, I would never intentionally hurt another member of either corp's sensibilities, (although some of my actions may have done so).

So Fea, if you're offended, would you like to settle this like gentlemen? Say, Velator's in Hoth at dawn?

Feas Bedtime reason is also the reacon why I don't bother sleeping on outpost construction days. I'd oversleep it massivly,as I tend to sleep until 10 or 11, at which point we can usually stick a fork in that outpost and proclaim it done.

I'm not offended, I honestly don't get up till 8:30am when I have work at 9am! There may be a reason I'm always 10 minutes late to work...

As for the weekends, well, put it like this: bedtime friday and saturday is normally 2 to 4am, so I don't tend to wake up early! :bored:
you are me, aicmfp.

May i suggest having a look at acquiring some melatonin? it's what your body *should* fire off to tell your brain to sleep.

In my experience, it doesn't make me sleep, but it does make me sleep far better and feel more awake in the morning.

It's also not available in the UK. :(

I'm not sure about the precursors to melatonin (seems to be Tryptophan (derived from serotonin))

It is a very safe thingy, and has been registered in the US for *ages* and the supplements are easy to get hold of (3mg / tablet is a good size)

I only sleep about 6 hours a night. Means I can go to bed nice and late and be up early.

Fuck knows why tho.
