After I got out of work I got home, waited for Midnight, headed over to a friends house, just nibbled at a beer whilst playing video games, then immediately went home to get some sleep.
Work wasn't too bad, but because of it, I couldn't be in an inebreated state

I went to Prague
Best new years ever, but i can report 7 things:
1)The "Sex Machines Museum" is exceedingly funny, but not for the faint of heart. I had eaten just before we went, and felt rather unwell.
2)Health and Safety is unheard of. The new years fireworks were abundant, and most of them were set off using methods such as "hold the stick over your head, point it vaguely away from you, the let go just before it strips the flesh from your hand", or my personal favourite "light, chuck into crowd and run like fuck."
3)Drink is cheap. Very. Depending on where you go, you can get a pint for about 40p, and spirits are not only cheap, but a single shot there is about the size of a triple here.
4)Absinthe is the Devils Mouthwash. It turned me into a gibbering loon, and one of the people i was with decided to set a christmas tree on fire to keep himself warm. The police were not amused.
5)Police fines for Arson are most reaonable.
6)The baggage handlers in Amsterdam are Shite.
7)A spoon. Apparently.
Anyway, i had a most enjoyable time, the possible highlight being singing "Rule Britannia" with my friends (who are largely classically trained singers) at a group of germans, just after midnight of the new year. Hurrah!

Sounds like fun, same again next year? :D
Oh yeah, and the baggage handlers at Amsterdam are fucking terrible, they are always leaving bags on the plane, or randomly throing them onto various baggage trucks :evil:
