God, this probably says too much about my priorties. When one of the biggest and more credible sites get gutted in a dumb corporate buy-out, it gets mentioned in The Sunday Papers. When a virtually-unknown outside-of-UK internet videogame TV show calls it a day in their final episode though? Front page post. Like, obviously. I dunno. The slow machinations of advance capitalism leaving human tragedy behind it is just life. Consolevania were unique, and their passing just as unique as their coming. And my short eulogy continues herein...

Description: The PC Gaming site: it's a fun time.

I can see why doing all those reviews can start to feel like hard work, but nonetheless.

A real shame. They had been quiet for a few weeks and I'd have loved to hear more about Rab's WAR exploits. But fair do's.

Personally I didn't feel that they went down the road of slagging of games, not compared to the likes of Yahtzee and Angry Video Game Nerd anyway. It's cheap but can be entertaining.

Ack! This has come as a bit of a shock, but I feel like I've already mourned for it, before the website got refurbished. I'll watch this when it's downloaded, and I'll probably shed a tear.
