After a recent topic asking everyone which kit they use the most, I have come up with a quick and geeky spreadsheet which should help us all understand which are our strengths and weaknesses in game.
You can view the stats by clicking on the following link

The orginal xls file is

120 hours as engineer, lawl!
I'm going to play as Support for a while I think, get them hours more even.
edit: how did you get the data? Don't tell me you copied of from a website bit by bit.

Ingenieur ist der König!
Even after I my Blackwhore days, I still love the class. It would a tough choice between that and medic for my numero uno.

it's weird, my fave overall kit is either assault or support (though, i'm learning to love specops)
however, sniping is great for lazy late night beefing, and pissing people off.

The thing with sniping is, it is very situational. You and I have held Hotel against god knows how many attackers on numerous occasions (mainly due to my supreme heroics and Claymore placing) and it has been very effective.
The other night however, I was sat on the roof of the warehouse on Oman, and despite killing everything I sighted (including a Two Star; twice) we lost. I didn't die and got seven kills but, effectively, I was chuffin' useless.
It's all coming down to this 'squad-play' idea, which scares me a bit. I just hope our amibitions don't overeach our ability.

The organised squad thing scares me.
I feel 5punk is *perfect* in beef, because we kick arse and have a laugh.
and yes, the sniping is very much case by case.

i like my sniper whoring in cetain situations still but since switching to assault my points have gone through the roof and im now coming in the top 5 and 6 quite often now, aslo i seem to have a natural knack with the grenade launcher!! How funny was my grenade shot on sharqi last night fatman?
The whole 5punk organised squad thing is a bit worrying as i left a clan to join 5punk and i cant really be bothered with all the crap that goes towards organising a proper, *shudder* 'TEAM'. I like joining games and having a laugh with you all and we always get the job done so i see no problem with our current group gaming beef style.
Organised Dis-Organisation FTW

T'were a fair shot to be true sir, and not the only one
As regards a 5punk squad, are we all agreed it is just better left alone? I have no problems with the way we play, we all seem to enjoy it it, and we do OK in the rankings

This
I say do pre-arranged squads hard in the bum. Twice.
I think it would
really piss me off and most likely have me not playing BEEF anymore within the month
I can see the benefit, but it's just not 5punk, anytime a specific kit is required I've heard a call go out on TS and it arrives pretty quickly at the next spawn.
I don't personally think all this '5punk can't be organised LOL' stuff is true, It's just that we don't want to and we play better for it.
End of FACT rant

I agree with the whole let everyone do what they want thing too.
And as for the stats, I got them off the BF2S site by comparing, and just copying and pasting into Excel.
The spreadsheet took me no longer than 2-3 mins to create, as I've been learning how to properly use Excel these last 2 weeks, and I figured I'd test out stuff on something that didn;t matter if I fucked it up.
In the past the only thing I have ever done with Excel is uninstall/install/repair it, I very rarely "used it".
Back on tangent though, still think it's worthwhile knowing this, even if it's to realise how little we spend on certain kits.
P.S. Plus it fills me with glee to find out that Berk of all people, who hated me using snipers in COD:UO is infact, the Beef sniper whore

Personally I try to use all the kits at least some, although I gotta say I spend a lot of time as Anti-Tank because of all the armor whores. I'd say I'm pretty well rounded. I think it's very important to know how to use all of the kits effectively, even if you're an engineer on foot, you should still be able to rock 'n roll with the assault guys. And yes, long distance sniping is very hard. I find judging the bullet drop pretty had because I don't do it that much. I only use the L96A1 for sniping however. My least played kit is spec ops because I don't like to waste the C4 packs on killing people, and as good as the G36C is, I'd rather have an AK-101 or a G3 to use for killing fools.
