I think out of this list the following look to be the most interesting

Metal Gear: Portable Ops
"We're promised the ability to recruit others and form our own squadrons online via the PSP's WiFi capabilities for battle online"

Check out the trailer if you *sigh* at the thought of Metal Gear
http://dl.qj.net/metal-gear-solid:-port ... /catid/143

Actually.. it looks a bit dull.

Ultimate Ghouls and Goblins

Oooooh a 2d side scroller!

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

Square Enix RPG. Lord of Asgard... destroy the evil Vanir, scourge of the Aesir... :bored:

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Square Enix RPG rehash set around VII to draw the punters in, ooh the main character is a mate of Cloud, that'll shift it.

Brave Story

Non square enix RPG, but does feature a "limit break style attack" and a girl with whiskers!! OMG

In conclusion:  come on Sony pull your finger out!!, sequel, sequel, Japanese RPG, Japanese RPG sequel, Japanese RPG

Although saying that, this one does sound good; Dead Head Fred, "Dead Head Fred's the macabre tale of a private eye on the trail of the man who brutally murdered him and then stole his head. The whole game's got a very twisted, almost Burton-esque quality to it, and it should provide some interesting open ended gameplay which the developers promise will allow for some creative puzzle solving"

Extend Every Extra looks pretty, and is new. And the fact that GT is a sequel wont put me off, I utterly love those games.

Why has every page that mentions the Justice League game got the "marvel" tag? Justice League was DC! :x

/comic geek

*ahem*

I have never got the attraction of the whole Metal Gear thing. This one doesnt look like its about to change my mind, either.

I'd probably fancy Gran Turismo as well, I played it about halfway through when I had a PS2, but then it got nicked (the PS2 and all games, memory card etc. :( ) and I've not played a Gran Turismo game since

One I am looking forward to is Field Commander, probably the exact opposite of a quick pick up and play puzzle game but I like the idea of playing it on a long train or plane journey.

Edit: This sounds like a great way of doing multiplayer!...

"If the prospect of spending up to an hour or more playing a match sounds daunting, the developers have thoughtfully included a "transmission" mode in the game, which is equivalent to the play-by-e-mail option of many PC turn-based strategy games. Each player takes a turn, and then submits the data to the server. The other player can log in and get that information at any time, either a minute later, hours later, or up to a day later. This makes for a more convenient way to play, as the other person doesn't have to be there, but matches can conceivably take hours, days, or longer, depending on how often each person logs in to take a turn"

I definitely want to get this as I've played every game in the series to death on the PS2

Image

Wanna get this as soon as the price comes down, or I can get it cheap on a pre-owned in Blockbuster

Image

This looks like a great pick up and play game, providing it's priced right.

I haven't got a racing game on the PSP yet, so I'm bound to be picking this one up, allthough I'm in no rush as I'm not a huge driving game fan.

You simply have to check out video footage of this game, it looks amazing, and really enjoyable to play, as a top down shooter "should" work better than an fps due to the limitation of having just one analogue stick on the PSP.

I sorta discounted Loco Roco cos it's already out here (A game out in Europe before the US *shock* how dare they!) But it is extremely playable, the perfect pick up and play game, shortish levels etc.

Never played Ratchett and Clank, my brain doesn't really get on with 3D Platformers, couldn't play Mario 64 or Mario Sunshine at all *mnnngh*

I'd not actually watched the Killzone trailer but that does look like the sort of game I want to play on a PSP, could be awesome

I've played Tekken, it's nice looking and pretty good. Not being a great 1on1 fighting player I get to the 4-5 opponent and get taken to the cleaners, so it can be frustrating. Perfect for the daily commute though.

Fighting games are the type most likely to have me hurling the joypad away in a rage :x Street Fighter 2 on the SNES for example, good job the SNES pads were hardy beasts, same can't be said for one of the original PS pads (a casualty of Tekken 3)

Probably best for me stay clear of this on the PSP, I fear it is not sturdy enough

I'm looking forward to Gran Turismo and MGS: Portable Ops, though I'll probably lose interest about 3/4 of the way through both of them.

Well that's more a cute girl with Neko ears and a couple of anthropomorphs in the background - the sort of in-game characters which have been my favourite since Shining horse. It's distinct from the soft of stuff Jolly Jack draws on b3ta, which isn't really my thing.
