Sold.

I've just cancelled my LotRO account as well :)

Took long enough. I'd be happy to pay for CoH alongside Warcraft if it meant a return to the nights of drunken spandex lunacy. Unfortunately those days are over for me. I was only reminiscing about them to myself yesterday too.

Indeed. Warcraft just doesn't have the same scope for silliness, despite me bumming a rather shocked looking blue yeti last night.

Incidentally, Warcraft is due to replace Eve as my most played game ever rather soon.

14day free trial

I was wondering if any 5punkers are gonna come back and create mishs whenever Issue 14 actually comes out? I'd be quite interested it that...I just see amazing amounts of LoLs to be had...Q1 2009 is the only release date I can find...
Issue 14: Mission Architect:

First the City of Heroes Character Creator set a new standard for player creation and customization. Now, Issue 14 takes another giant step, allowing players to design their own missions and story arcs to share with the entire City of Heroes community. Using an intuitive interface similar to the game's detailed Character Creator, players can create missions from the ground up. Players will determine details ranging from environments, mission objectives, and enemies, to written fiction and character dialogue; giving their stories nearly infinite depth and personalization.

Among other rewards, authors and architects who create the most extraordinary content will garner acclaim and reputation. Community feedback will be paramount and some missions will elevate in status unlocking new rewards and benefits for their creators.

I really would like to design some missions actually, but don't really have the time at the moment. I've a stack of unfinished games that gets larger all the time.

You're going to have to make a more convincing argument than that. Lack of TS fun is going to be the major contributing factor to my lack of interest, followed by the fact that I've done every non-instance mission so often they're still imprinted on my retinas (with different monsters). How does the mission design shape up? That's the only interesting thing left and could be very, very good if done properly. I'd be capable of making whole campaigns if I got on with the tools and had the time.

I14 will have the mission editor, apparently it's gonna be fairly detailed (not sure if they're letting you design the enemies though)
