3DMark 03

Ok so most of the regulars have posted the details of their pcs in the machine specs thread and it got me thinking. Seeing the components in a pc and translating that into rough gaming performance can be very difficult so i thought id make a benchmark thread.
There are quite a few different benchmarking apps and the best ive used are the '3DMark' series from Futuremark. Simple to install, simple to use and simple to find:
fileshack
Username: cmavis
Password: 714911
Once installed and running the first screen should look like this :
Welcome Screen
Now to keep it simpler to compare machine specs i suggest we all use the free basic edition. The full version can be tweaked around and that would then scupper the integrity of peoples results.
Now simply click the 'Run 3D Mark' Button and watch the pretty demos (i suggest having a tab or putting the telly on for this bit). Then when its finished the results page will popup with your score.
<a href="

15,332 points
Now simply screengrab the desktop, resize if you wish and host the non-shopped image in a reply.

I ran this when I added more RAM to my laptop. If I remember correctly, my score was somewhere around 7600 points or so.

If you can run 06 go for that, it'll tell you if your PC isn't hard enough when you try and run it.
Mine would probably be:
03: Thousands of stuffs
06: Mmm speshul slideshow

my E-Penis is tiny and flaccid. I suspect I would get a 3d mark of "wtfLOL!", rather than a number.

I like aquamark to be honest, but in the interest of having most of you outdo me, I'll get this installed and give it a run.
EDIT: Ok, without overclocking, I've got a score of 5522. Gona see how far I can push it, and be stable now

What's a good way of telling if I've killed my graphics card? Can't ge the computer to boot up correctly outside of safe mode (
). I just get some BSOD message that's not on-screen long enough for me to be able to read it, but since I can boot up in safe mode, I'm not sure what's causing it
(And I did follow the golden rule of only push it 5Mhz each time, run tests, if fine, push some more and it went from running with no instabilities to can't load up in one move)

5mhz? i like 2, then 1 once it gets hairy.
boot in safe mode, uninstall your overclocking app (and maybe drivers)
boot.
be happy.
edit: you may also need to delete the cards from the hardware manager, or even remove the card and reboot for them to get picked up again.
it's all a bit hit and miss.

Yarr!
3DMark03: 16,486
I might try some of the newer versions later, but I'm pretty impressed with that.

Considering last time we discussed this, I was unable to even run 3DMark05, my 3DMark06 score of 921 is better, but still crap.

My nice shiney new computer:
03: 16964
06: I'll try it later.
My old computer:
03: 7-8000, but I'd upgraded my graphics card between that test and now, so who knows what it currently is.

It seems to me that 5punkers fall into one of two categories; those with ninja PCs and those with decrepid old quasimodos. Nobody seems to have a middle-of-the-road, off-the-shelf PC.

by Woo Elephant Yeah
Mine is middle of the road :o)

I've only got one remember, I didn't want to fork out a fortune for a card that allowed dual CPU's.
I really must remember to test out what score my machine can come up with in 03

ahh, in that case, you have no excuse

10,339 is my score in 03 after massively overclocking my Galaxy Glacier 6800.
You can find all the 3d Mark programs in the /downloads folder
