I had an idea for, as the title suggests, a Silly Theme for a 5punk radio show. Basically, starting with 2006 and going backwards, we are going to have a song from every year. What I need from you guys are some suggestions for songs, and reasons why.

yes, you *are* my song finding bitches.

Hurrah!

Just to clarify, theres only going to be one song per year, but dont let that stop you suggesting more than one song for a year. I'll probably have to find a bunch of these things from somewhere, so the more options i have, the easier it'll be.

Oohhhh, RevCo - Ministry and Front 242, you win a 'Quite Cool' badge.

I have nothing else to add to this thread, other than Richard D. James should be in there somewhere.

Yay! We seem to have a clean sweep through to '55, with the 1812 as a nice end point.

Dont let that stop you posting more suggestions though. Pre-55 would be preffered, but if you think you have a better option for a year already covered, suggest away.

EDIT:It never ends!
