Didn't know if you wanna keep any of the F-POS stuff hidden or not but I thought I'd start it in here for now.

Between Lestok and Mano, we have 291 Clear Icicles to be refined into fuel. TY Friz!

If I had a Mackinaw, there would have been another 170. So, by my figures, Lestok will be launching his Mackinaw on August 5th, 2006. (If only I'd plan out my RL as much as EVE.)

On another update related, we are about 140 mil from the target isk for the construction effort. This could be adjusted, as that was taking into account the starting fuel, which Les and Friz have so graciously mined for the project!

Also, I am keeping the exact system hush hush until it is built, although I know I've mentioned Jaymass to more than a few others, I don't want it to be information that is immediately made available to the new Fw4ppers. I'd like to wait to 'instruct' them about it until they are ready to move there, to avoid new members popping before they know how to live there safely. (If they pop too early they get distracted and think they can't keep up with us)

Update:
The decision was made to loan the 140mil to the 5punkers POS 5 project and donate a stockpile of ice to help get the most profitable endeavor underway.

Luckily I had some loot to sell, and have been able to pick up a few of the components needed. If I weren't at work, I'd check to see which they were! I think we have enough isk for all the components, we just need a small Amarr tower, if anyone has one in their pocket that they don't need. ....

UPDATE:

We now have the tower, all the modules, and the guns if Daddi ever renews his account and logs on.... I fear he may have left for vacation though, so we might need to get more guns....

Fuel is the real shortage atm. We want to have a two month supply before launch, or at least the isk for two month's worth. Which based on my latest calculations is 92mil.

So any donations or corp work that can be done to help us reach that target would be appreciated!

Much as I applaud and support this project, as I mentioned before I really must insist that 5punkorp sticks to the Main Effort of the POS chain a little longer. We're damn nearly there: a month of fuel, a freighter run, and 2 weeks sales will put us in a position to start paying off our loans (which will cover most of the Fw4ppers fuel btw). Then we're sitting pretty for future projects.

Basically what I'm saying is that despite my original pledge, 5punkorp is not yet in a position to support Fw4ppers POS project financially yet. Give it another month or so and we will be. Blame phenolics

Good points both^^. I didn't realize that my little project could distract resources from the larger picture. Please, anyone that can help the 5punk project reach fruition, please donate of your time, as it will benefit us all financially!

I'll be working on recruiting so we can refill our ranks by summer's end, when we'll hopefully regain our former membership/playtime levels!
