Gums out this wack: Friday 24th October

Because I'm lazy and sleepy, this post contains none of the normal formatting
Games released this Friday
Fable II (360)
With LittleBigPlanet out of the picture until November 5, Lionhead's action role-playing sequel should prosper.
Monopoly (PS2/360/Wii/PS3)
At least the computer will never knock the pieces off the board in a tantrum.
Dead Space (360/PS3/PC)
It may not be a sequel or a licence but EA's space-based survival horror still isn't exactly what you'd call original.
Far Cry 2 (360/PS3/PC)
It's got some of the best graphics ever for a first-person shooter, but does this sequel have the gameplay to match?
Transformers Animated (DS)
Hopefully this will be more than meets the eye, given the ugly graphics.
Midnight Club: L.A. (360/PS3/PSP)
Out in the busiest week of the year and with a resurgent Need For Speed due soon, has Rockstar's Club melted?
Disaster: Day Of Crisis (Wii)
We don't know why Nintendo bought Monolith Soft if it is not going to bother promoting any of its games.
Celebrity Sports Showdown (Wii)
A mini-game collection featuring C-list US celebs. Sounds cruel and unusual.
MotoGP 08 (PS2/360/PS3/PC)
Capcom takes over THQ/Climax's motorcycling licence, with the same game now appearing on all formats.
Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows (multi)
We'd like to say something about spider sense tingling here, but we've seen very little of this comic book tie-in.
What's Cooking? Jamie Oliver (DS)
Hopefully some manner of giant monster with a slow digestive track.
Star Ocean: First Departure (PSP)
Never before released in the West, this 1996 role-player remake is a handy introduction for the new 360 game.
