This morning we've been having a favourite discussion of mine at work: Who would you cast as the new A Team? So I thought I'd ask you guys too.

For me it's:

Hannibal Smith: George Clooney
BA Barrakus: Mr T again, maybe Ving Rhames
Murdock: Jim Carey. Anery if he's not available, as they're pretty much the same person.
Face: I'm stuck on this one but I'm determined to come up with an answer today.



So, who would you cast?

I can't see that picture, but I've decideed on Viggo Mortensen as my choice for Face. I'm quite happy with that one.

Asking around the office has got me pretty much the same answers.

For face man I thought Colin Farrell as long as he got rid of any oirish accent. Then we came up with someone like Ed Norton or Ben Stiller, someone who's good at running their mouth even though he doesn't fit the texan charm thing.

But then I thought what about Vince Vaughn (sp?) he's a good talker and has that southern merkin thing going on.

We should just clone dirk benedict and create a new, young perfect copy. It's the only way!

That reminds me that i saw Dirk Benedict last year at a convention, he looked pretty much exactly the same as he did in the 80's.

on topic, Dog pants' choice of characters is pretty much what i would choose.

I'd like to hear Morgan Freeman deliver Hannibal's classic line, as Mr T is inimitable, maybe a kung-foo guy for that - the guy out of Iron Monkey, thought Nathan Fillion for Face. Murdoch, maybe Chris Rock.

All parts should be played by Eddie Murphy.

Face: Brad Pitt

Although admittedly, I'd never watch that.

Hannibal - Dale Winton (seriously, scrub off the tan, dye his hair white and he's perfect for it)

Mr. T - Al Jolson

Murdoch - Russel Brand (in his head he's hilarious!)

Face - Megan Fox (it would be a bit like Starbuck in the new BSG)

I did consider a female Face. I think that would open some nice character possibilities. Also, at Gary Coleman for BA.
