The E4 part bothers me but otherwise it's looking interesting.

Oh and if you don't know who Charlie Brooker is watch Screenwipe. There's a new series next month but the old stuff is still good.

Cool. Saw an advert for this on TV and thought it looked great.
Mr. Brooker should make it rather fantastic.

I hope it's good.
And I hope I won't need to have watched much Big Brother to get it.

There's more video on the official site which suggests there's plenty of zombie, but you never can tell with trailers. I trust Brooker to include the appropriate amount and with the appropriate level of irony.

Starts tonight on E4 at 22:00. Continues each night at the same time until Friday. I'm not sure I can be bothered with this, I might have to download later to watch at my leisure.

Yep. A slow start- I guess that's why it was an hour and the rest are 30 minutes- but I you have to establish normality before you can destroy it.
I find all the characters are deeply unlikeable at the moment.

Well it is based on big brother isn't it? I haven't watched it yet, but I have a feeling that even though it has zombies, it involves a bunch of twats/caricatures of twats that'll just get on my nerves

That's just like pretty much everything else on T4 isn't it? Still, in zombie movies the heroes mostly end up getting eaten so maybe that's a good thing.

Watched the first part earlier and I think it's okay. It has speedy zombies, which I'm not so keen on, but it's nicely put together. I'm looking forward to seeing almost all the characters get eaten, apart from maybe the Gene Hunt-esque producer.

I'm quite enjoying it. It's well done and gripping enough.

Within my family this character would be called "a Burke", after the cowardly corporate stooge in Aliens. The modus operandi of this character model is to panic and run away from danger as fast as possible, trying to save their own life at the expense of everyone else's. Invariably they get their comeuppance in the end. Will this follow the pattern? Look out for Burkes in other Hollywood movies.

Ooh, speaking of references to other movies, 'Burke' at one point says someone has a face like the Manchester Morgue. Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue was a somewhat influential 70s (I think) zombie B movie. Nice little in joke there.

Well spotted. He also said "Stop bleeting!", which is probably Brookerism or something.

And I bet no one spotted "They're coming to get you Barbara". ;)

Ooh, I did spot the Barbara one actually but I can't think what it was from, I just knew it sounded familiar.

It's Braindead isn't it? The old Peter Jackson classic gorefest. Or is it Evil Dead? I can't remember now. I didn't hear that myself, but watched Dead Set last night. It was pretty good, but running ZOMBIES do nothing for me.

We need a Naboo back-turning emote. It's from Night of the Living Dead and is parodied/referenced in other zombie films, like Shaun of the Dead for instance.

I'm probably spotting it from the other parodies. I've only seen Night of the Living Dead a couple of times. It's from the beginning when he's winding her up about being in the graveyard, right?
