Amazon with Bruce Parry

I've recently been watching Amazon with Bruce Parry on BBC2. It follows Bruce Parry's journey along the length of the Amazon, and is fairly interesting. One large gripe is that he has this annoying and pretentious habit of talking loudly and slowly to these remote Amazon tribes in English, and makes it look like he understands whatever they say back to him in their native language - he tries very hard to cover the fact that it's all through translators. On the other hand, it's a very interesting insight into how many of the tribes live and how the logging etc all works. However, in tonight's episode, I realised the main thing about the programme that gets me - it's as if Steve Zissou has made it. All it needs is for his son to turn up halfway through the series.
