With the changes in 5punkorp, should those be reflected in the moderator lists here on 5punk?

Obviously discuss ideas with the affected parties first, then let me know how it should be set up.

I guess so. You can probably remove the whole forum narf as there's really no need for a hidden bit anymore other than for nostalgia's sake - can it be archived for posterity?

I guess the main Eve forum should be just me and Hehulk as mods as we still play regularly.

Well yeah, I was kinda wondering where you'd got to?

Accounts inactive, can't be bothered any more, RL seems like a better choice, and you might have noticed that eve is a bit like crack for me, so giving it up is a good thing in the long run if I fancy actually achieving something.

I might be back one day, but dunno when that could be really.

Figured mostly it was better just to disapear quietly. Took me weeks just to say good-bye to bs.i, and that was only after they'd poked me asking if I was alright.

Well i would hate to see it go completely. At least one eve channel. I play to give it a go after I get things cleaned up. Old players and such. So I would have at least one forum we could go to. I still check in most every day. And I would like to have time to sift through all the old data and see what is still relevant. I felt with Dres at the helm we had direction. It may just turn out to be nostalgia on my part but hey.

In which case make Morrill the mod of the 0.0 forum so he can sift through it.

Personally I would like keep, and stay mod of the the normal Eve forum because despite everything quite a few 5punkers still play it and well...it's here already and would be too much trouble to integrate into the Other MMO's section I should think.

Added Morrill as mod of this forum, he also now controls access to it with http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/groupcp.php

Am looking to merge this forum into the normal Eve forum at the weekend as the first part of the forums re-jig. Most posts will therefore be several pages down, except the sticky. Obviously the group which manages access won't be needed any more either, so that will go at the same time.

Yeah, I'll do that now. Eventual mods of the forums we end up with are still under discussion, with affected parties being PM'd by Dog Pants.

It can be delayed a bit if you have stuff to do, let me know. I just wanted to announce something so we can get the ball rolling on the site-wide updates, of which this is only the first step, and you're ahead of me with the MMO forum thing - that's not imminent, but coming soon.

This is just Eve 0.0 forum merged into Eve regular forum - I hadn't the heart to delete it all, any links you're including in stickies shouldn't be affected at all.
