Not sure yet, might commit to a month or 3

I can foresee this holding my interest for a few months at least, providing the next three tiers are as enjoyable as the first. And I've not touched most of the other races and classes yet.

Which reminds me to cancel my wow account for now. I can't play both.

Still a resounding maybe from me. I'm enjoying it at the moment, but the PvE is a bit weak and the PvP might turn out to be a bit samey after a while.

So far, im liking things a lot. However, I'm awfully prone to go into "oooh, shiney!" mode when I get a new game (unless its utter shit. Crysis Warhead, im looking at you.)

Should have figured out if I like it enough to subscribe by about the point where I will need to subscribe. So I'll get back to you.

I'm enjoying it, and the problems I've had are niggles as opposed to fucking massive bits of fail like in aoc.

As for whether I'll keep playing? Probably not as much as I should to justify the sub but I will keep playing and killing things for a few months at least.

Haven't scratched enough surface off yet however. Got all classes except dwarf tank to try still, and I'd like to get at least one char to max level (or close) to try endgame.

Will take a while to decide, but so far killing gobbo's is great fun.

I can't see myself paying for this yet. For me, longevity depends on soloing and crafting, and these are probably the two areas where it is weakest.

I find myself having to visit at least two same-chapter areas to get a sufficient number of doable quests before being able to level enough to take on the next chapter, and since I'm always on 100% rested XP, that cannot be how they meant it to be.

I've found that up to level 10 has flown by for me and I haven't had to hang around in one area too much. I do dump quests that look boring or require me to move a long way back from my direction of travel. I'm currently putting axe to level 14/15 wolves and orks and I'm a 12, it means you can't collect too many at once or you'll get smashed, but it does make it fun and reward far more xp.

Same foe me. I've found myself trying to avoid normal XP so I can increase my renown to match and I don't want to move on to the next tier yet and be the low level n00b all over again.

I've played my Dwarf up to 9 and an Elf up to 7 over the last couple of days, and the Elven area certainly seems to have a lot more quest coverage. I've just moved to the second area and I've got a massive stack of them. When I hit the same point as a Dwarf I was down to only a couple if I remember correctly.

I'm off in elfland questing now, having had completely run out of tier 2 dwarfery.

I'll play it for a few more months I think, going to cancel my two WoW subs.

Well I loaded this up last night, ran about for a bit, handed a quest in, died to some spider things because I couldn't be arsed to fight them and tried to run through them. Resurrected about 10 minutes walk away from where I died. Decided this wasn't fun, and closed the game (after 20 seconds).

I doubt I'll re-sub this game, unless I hear loads of good things about the higher tiers that motivate me to grind the lower tiers some more.

I think I'm all MMONG'd out narf, even though I stupidly keep buying the new ones as they come out. Silly me.

I reckon this is part of a lot of peoples' problem. Nobody is really straying from the "go there, kill these" theme, and the past 4 I've played (Warcraft, LoTRO, AoC, WAR) have all been similar enough in those respects that playing one too much detracts from all of them.

Still, there's Jumpgate Evolution and Huxley breaking the mould, and possibly The Secret World, Exanimus and KOTORMMONG. The future isn't all overshadowed by Warcraft.

I think I'll give the Trek and the Stargate ones a spin, as I like scifi much more than fantasy. I might even listen to their dialogue rather than impatiently mashing my space bar as soon as anyone speaks.

Mostly this is just becoming same MMO, different name to me. (World of Lord Conan's Age of Reckoningcraft online)

The RvR is great fun, but for me it's not quite enough to support the fairly under filled PvE, which is really the core game to me.

Oh well, back to CoH once my month ends.

I made a destro guy on ass bite pass last night, the chaos starting area looks so much better than anything order have, and I've got 2 melee dps'ers one elf and one chaos and the chaos one kicks a lot more ass. I did find that the quests were more fun too. But I'm tiring of running backward and forward so fucking far to hand stuff in, I'll do the quest, see the hand in is an entire map back and just abandon it.

I'm really enjoying the against the odds defence of the one or two forts we actually have, the closed rvr needs more maps already and it needs to revert control of forts to the race who built it every couple of days or order never get a look in.

Huxley disappeared for a while, then returned all super koreanified and going from gritty alien fighting to laser cannon invisibility bollocks almost got the game a big fat fuck off from me, but the way they work character progression looks different enough, and it's fps so that's always good.

Jumpgate, fancy new eve isn't it?

kotormong and dark corners should hopefully be galaxies and something really fucked up and awesome respectively.

I doubt I'll be resubbing. Played a lot of it this week because I've got nothing else to do, but it really feels like I'm playing it just for the sake of playing.

I was really enjoying my character (a Bright Wizard), but then I noticed that pretty much all the skills after level 20 are tactics or morale - which seriously sucks balls. 20 levels of using the same attack pattern over and over (more or less) to then find there's practically bugger else after that.

RvR is fun, but I'm finding that I'm being targeted by every enemy player as soon as they're in sight, regardless of any other targets (the curse of damage dealing I suppose). It wouldn't be so bad, but no motherfucker seems to heal in this game. Keep attack/defence is also fun, but let's face it, unless you're Destro there's no fucking way your retaining it for more than an hour or two.

Which is another thing - balance. The Destro side seems to work much better as a unit. Now this could be down to the players, but it does seem that they have much better healing classes, and more abilities to self heal.

Pubic Quests. Again, these are fun, but after the first few chapters you can fucking forget about completing one unless, by some miracle of divine intervention, there happens to be a large group of people nearby (in Ostland I have, at most, seen one or two other people doing PQs, regardless of the time of day).

I don't know, maybe I'm being a bit harsh on it - I'm not in a very fluffy place at the moment, and it seems to have dropped my patience levels to zero - but there just doesn't seem anything to justify staying with it.

Also: crafting is crap .

Also also: Alan Fucking Cartwright.

Kinda, only older, and more like Freelancer, that is you actually get to fly, not play an elaborate version of drug wars.

Looks like this is a shiny new version of it, which is nice.
