I've Just been Reading a previous thread about Zone Alarm and this Nod32 was suggested as a much better alternative.

So I've downloaded the 30 day trial to see how it goes. However does anyone know of a Username and PW that is floating arround to fully activate it?

Is it just me, or does NOD32 actually sound like a virus name?

Yeah, I reckon it's the '32' that does it. Incidentally, is there a 64?

I imagine they send you one when you buy it :). If you don't want to buy it, you could try a free one like Avast! or AVG.

It supports 64 bit too, but it's still called NOD32. My codes are legit (don't know if you can pick up dodgy ones, but I doubt it as it has to update from their server), but they only cost me £50 for 3 years, which ain't bad at all. Cheese & Ham sells it.

I am also running legit NOD32. I think it cost me $50 for 2 years so not having to deal with the free versions was worth the money.

Legit Nod32 here too, well worth the cash.

hmm, ive had a couple of issues with nod32 lately, last month it did a false-alarm on pretty much every word file in one company we use it on, and quarantined the lot, they dont have a fix yet for a particularly nasty virus (aka "Antivirus xp 2008") and recently on a couple of large networks some of the clients have suddenly been pinging us 100s of update errors even though the server seems fine and other clients work ok.

Its resource-lightness is still awesome and their support is also top notch.
Id still go for it over any other AV but I guess im a little bit disappointed that its perfect reputation is a bit tarnished in my book.
