Anyone friendly with a BoB member still? I'm looking serously at wanting to join them for a while, but iirc all their main corps need a referal (I'm 100% sure BNC does) to even get talked to.

For the love of God why? BoB sucks monkey balls. If you really want to experience the GBC thing I'd strongly suggest hooking up with Jimmy and co. in STYX as a much better alternative. You get all the fun without any of the shit that comes with it.

That said, I don't think I know any bobbits well enough to secure a 3rd person referral.

Mostly because it's been years since I feel like I've been in an Alpha class alliance (COW, Insrg, Exuro were all awesome, but were second class powers narf) and I'd like to do it again. LV was, in it's own weird way, great in a way I've not experienced since.

I know that feeling all to well (hello MC, who failed utterly to live up to expectations). But BoB make me want to vomit in ways I can't express, despite the fact they are mighty and powerful and rich and successful and I consider joining them at least once a month until I wake up and realise there's no fucking way I'm going to sell myself to the devil...yet. It'll no doubt happen one day as the game shows no signs of improving from the BoB vs anti-BoB mega-coalition, only that the anti-BoB ones consistenly fail, apart from AAA and Goons, who suck more than BoB, wall of text wall of text wall of text wtb sentences etc.

Question I always ask is, so what, wanna join 'BoB'? So which corp? When you start to look at the individual corps it invariably puts me off the idea again.

EVOL - Personally I obviously have no desire to hand over all by assets. I very much doubt they recruit anyway.
BNC - full of shady metagaming semi-dodgy not sure I trust them types (ex-CEO was head of ISS ffs) and the ones I know sold out their mates to get in.

Hobos wont be in GBC soon, it's just until the corp re-launches in October.

No idea about now adays, but when they were formed they were basically ATUK + close friends. ATUK was the main powerhouse in [5] alliance and CA before that iirc
