I'm not looking at in in too much depth, but I'm fairly sure september doesn't really count as "soon", yet.

I am vomiting with anticipation.
Although I dont understand why its not set in the Eberron campaign setting. Eberron was, after all, designed from the outset to suit the more varied mediums that D&D worlds are being put through (such as RTS's and MMO's). And yet, its in Neverwinter again. Which means Forgotten Realms. Again.
Not that theres anything wrong with Forgotten Realms as such, but weve had it in 2 baldurs gate games, 2 icewind dale games, the original NWN and Pool of Radiance. The only other campaign setting I can think of being used (other than eberron in D&DO) is Planescape, in Planescape Torment. Where are the Ravenloft games? or the Spelljammer games? Or Dragonlance (not counting ones that are really old/shit/both)? Its like its just a case of differently coloured orks or something; Spelljammer is effectively D&D in space.
/Beard rant end.

Forgotten Realms is boring as pants, it's just D&D Vanilla. I think there was a Dark Sun game once, which is an interesting setting, and I liked Planescape and Spelljammer a lot. Ravenloft would probably make a better computer game than it was a tabletop because you can save a computer game. In the tabletop version everyone dies.
