"Dark City," the critically-acclaimed triumph from visionary director Alex Proyas (I, Robot, The Crow), is back with a brand new directors cut featuring enhanced picture and sound, never-before-seen footage and three commentary tracks that take you deeper than ever before into the world of one of sci-fis most exciting and revered tales.
When John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) wakes with no memory at the scene of a grisly murder, he soon finds himself hunted by the police, a woman claiming to be his wife and a mysterious group of pale men who seem to control everything and everyone in the city.
Starring Rufus Sewell, Jennifer Connelly, William Hurt and Kiefer Sutherland.

Bluray version pre-ordered and that's my first BR purchase. Nice find, I love that film.

Baader meinhof strikes again. I downloaded and watched this a few weeks ago because I think it's aces.
I shall have to have a peek at the fancy new version and see if it's better, sounds like it is.

I've just read
what that means, but what would it be called if I then hear someone refer to it again tomorrow? Is that a double Baader-Meinhof phenomenon?

Baadest Meinhof?
Also, I formulated a similar explanation to the recency efect in my head before I got to that. I should be a psychologist (I think I'd enjoy that actually).

Didn't get it yet...was hoping you'd tell me there's no point so I wouldn't have to buy it

I finally watched it last night. There's obvious differences between the theatrical and director's cut, if you're familiar with the film. The extra stuff doesn't add much to the story or much else, it seems just like filler to me and an excuse to sell another disc.
None-the-less it's still a good film and definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it.
