Because you're sleeping with the boss?

Oh fuck no. My direct boss is my dad, his boss is a long time family friend. My parents met them when I was a toddler. That would just be weird to a new extreme.

Nice to see that pesky issue with the auto-crouch fixed, as well as the exit vehicle one - I got stuck inside the Mako the first time I drove it and had to look up how to get out on the internet.

Took me 30 minutes or so, I reloaded and tried to fight them without the vehicle even, and died horribly. How did that get past testers?

I pressed all the buttons I could. But knowing would have helped more.

Am I the only one who exited the Mako 1st try? I didn't know there was a screw up till I was reading some forums.

I had to look in the manual to figure it out. They don't tell you anywhere in game what the key to exit the Mako is, at least not that I saw.

I thought they said to press a wrong key to exit the mako. The message flashes up on the screen for like a slpit second. As for the patch, so far the new content is good. But now I'm having trouble with crouching all the time if I get near cover, then I can't stand untill I get near some other form of cover. Makes moving over large distances fun.

They do tell you in-game that the action key is used to exit the Mako and instead you had to use some sort of retarded Zoom In or Crouch or whatever button.

I didn't have a problem exiting the Mako. Didn't even know there was a problem until now. Mind you, I never read on screen instructions so I'm used to working things out.

Save starting a new thread so I'll use this one..

I was probably about 2/3 of the way through this game (latest content and patch etc). It was running hunky dory, no problems, no crashes, vaguely amusing. So I was saving it for when I was in Nigeria without internets to complete it.

And now it won't fucking load up. Does some critical error shit and closes as soon as I click Play Game on the launcher. The irritating thing is I havn't changed a damn thing on that computer, unless there's been a stealth fista update that I don't know about.

Tried updating drivers, sticking it in the AVG ignore list, reinstalling DirectX, pretty much everything short of reinstalling the game, which given that it's got limited installs and took me 3 attempts to get it working in the first place leaves me less than impressed.

Anyone else had spontaneous loading errors with this?

I seem to remember seeing on other forums that people have had this problem, but I've never experienced it myself. Take it you've done a Google?

My dirty swept copy did that. I think I remounted the iso and ran it through the pop-up launcher instead of the .exe and it worked.

Maybe just back up save-games and re-install over the top?

yeah probably will reinstall, just irks me that a game that ships with limited install copy protection fails and horses a number of reinstalls. Good reason to shun them in future for being utter cunts.

When you uninstall the game it is supposed to "refund" one of your used install credits, as it were, so this shouldn't affect you. If it does, you need to call up EA and call them out as the cunts they are so they give you some more install credit things.
