Hey guys. I've heard from a few people that the new nVidia drivers support graphics cards that are from different companies to work in SLi? Such as an XFX GeForce 6800 and a Leadtek 6800 providing that they have the same clock speeds and memory? Is this true?

This computer is running SLi dual 6600 GTs, whatever that means. This may be relevant.

Basically, as long as the video cards are the same GPU and Video BIOS version they'll work together in SLI.

Woo :w00t:

This means that the frustration of not wanting to buy just one card, incase you cannot buy the same one later on in a SLi setup, is finally a thing of the past.

Pfffft. I had a mate that bought a Banshee. I warned him that they were shit and combined 2d/3d cards would never take off but would he listen?
