Hullo all,
Me back.
Got really busy with work for a while, and people kept giving pay raises. Stopped playing Shartak cos I no longer enjoyed having to write biblical letters to the shartakanians to justify any of my actions in game.
Been playing ... The Witcher ... where my character keeps getting sexually assaulted by every woman character in the game ... except one ... who is a hooker ... O.o
Call of Dudy 4 ... it has guns
Just bought NWN 2 in case it is fun like the Witcher. So far it isn't.
Suggestions for good games welcome.
And I need a new avatar. Suggestions for new avatars are also welcome.

Have you tried paying the whore? that might result in better luck with her.
Good games? It's summer, there's no good games. none to be found. at all, anywhere.
ooh, and grats on 100

Welcome back, have a

!
PORQ, AOC, Team Fortress 2 and *gulp* EVE Online, these are what most of us play.
Oh and Penny Arcade Adventure. It has hot Robot-on-Fruit action.

That avatar's great, why change it? If you're dead set, Grimmie enjoys making them.
Funy you should mention Shartak - we've just been asked what we'd like to see in the game to garner more interest, as it's pretty much died here. I thought the forum arguments were all part of the fun.
Anyhoo, welcome back

Mmmmmm delicious calorie adding cake ...
Forum arguements were kind of fun. Kind of. Till they became players arguing about how the game should be played instead of about ingame stuff ... mmmm anyone that can be bothered reading some of the shartak essays will know what I'm talking about.

Too many opinions not enough moderated decisions.
I'll save it for the specific thread if I feel like it.

to all

I found it long enough, and very enjoyable. I'd have to check my xfire hours to see exactly how long.

The main storyline is infact quite short (4 planets + ending?), and the rest of the planets are really just boring copies of the 4 sample buildings/mines as a little time waster.

Just because you aren't interested in them doesn't mean they aren't part of the game. I enjoyed them, eve though the locations were very identikit. Someone once played through Diablo in a matter of minutes, doesn't make it a short game because he missed loads of it out.

yeah you can avoid them mostly, but they do give you lots of XP and cash, which can be rather handy especially when you get access to the Spectre gear.

By the time I was on Ilos, I got 10k+ cash per kill and that combined with all the sellables is really more than you will ever spend.

NWN 2 is shite, but you've probably realised that by now.

I kinda enjoyed it once I had finished, but it was pretty meh, The add on is fucking shocking, imposing a very strict time restraint on you that fucks up the whole wander everywhere sell everything approach I take. I turned it off with lollerhax because it was so annoying.
