Fista Start Menu question

Can one add the other "document" folders to the right side of the start menu? I'd like to 1 click my way into the downloads folder like I can pics/music/games.
I'm guessing you most likely can not as the customize button does not give you the option in the start menu property box.
I know I could just throw a shortcut on my desktop but I like a nice clean desktop, as in I only have the rec bin up.
I tried google but "download" is an evil thing to goggle.

You can't add it to the right hand side list with Music, Pictures etc as far as I know. But if you drag the folder from explorer onto the start button, then when the start menu opens you can drop it at the top of the left hand section, where the internet and email shortcuts are. It'll create a link there, better than nothing.

Cool, that will work, I looked for "pin to start menu" never thought to drag and drop.

Neither did I, actually, I've still only got Web and Email on it.
But then I rarely ever actually
click anything on the Start menu any more.
A folder full of deftly-named shortcuts is a handy accompaniment to Start Search.

On my computer I have the toolbar at double width and use the second line for the quick-start, games and a shortcut to my storage drive.

I just have loads of shit on my desktop, but I admit that Fista seems to encourage good housekeeping with its shininess. Desktop items on my (Fista) laptop offend me.

I use my desktop as a kinda my-documents-light (as my my docs has 140gb in it) and a double height taskbar with quick launch with everything i need handy.

I have three layers; stuff I use often have shortcuts on my dsktop, utilities I use really often (eg. xfire, firefox) have quick launches, eveerything else in the start menu.
