you want to clone the whole disk to another one? for size upgrades or what?
If so, there are much easier ways of doing it than knoppix

Righto, all done.
First things first - ensure both drives are in the PC, and you know what order they are connected in so you make sure you copy the old one to the new one and not the other way round. It should be easy enough in your case as the new one will be bigger.
Grab this image:
http://clintweb.co.uk/random/ghostboot.iso
Burn it & boot from it. When it gets into the ghost console, choose Local - Disk to Disk mode.
It should do its ghosty thing and transfer your drive data.
Any excess space is normally left as unused space on the drive. Once you are back in windows, you can make a partition in this space, or use tools like Partition Expert / Magic to resize the exsisting ones.
Should be largely straightforward. If you get stuck, gimme a shout.
