I'll have to check with Mrs Pants again - she's forbidden me from going but that was during an argument so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.

I know I said was definitely coming but...

now I can confirm I am definitely coming as I have just paid for my car hire (so I don't have to transport my 'puter on the tube!)

Also, again, if anyone lives in/near London and needs a lift I will try and oblige

After a week or so of sweetening up Mrs Pants ready to ask her if she really meant I couldn't go, it's been taken out of my hands by being put on call over that weekend. Cheers boss.

My sincerest apologies to you Berk, I hope you can find another way down, and to anyone else who's inconvenienced by this. Prof, if you've shelled out for anything on my account I'll get the money back to you.

Anyone who was pestered by me constantly over xfire at the last LAN will know how pissed off I am at this.

Can't do that in my line of work I'm afraid, besides which I'll not actually be in work, just on standby and so unable to stray more than an hour from base.
