You can use Fraps for free if you only need short clips.

only works with 3d stuff though.

There's a website that Grimmie uses for recording apps. It's all very web2.0 but I can't remember what it's called.

you didn't, you saw the alt tag before the image loaded.

I use Camtasia for all my screencaps.
Jing at www.jingproject.com is also quite lovely, made by the same people.

There is also Wink.

Probably not a flash as Camtasia and rather rudimentry, but it's fully freeware (personal/business use) and does the job.

Been searching for a Camcorder(home movies) to PC(ATI all in wonder) capture thingy. I seem to have the ATI capture drivers working...but NeroVision only works with the preview and says FU to recording.

Looks like Camtasia will record off the camera? I also found Arcsoft Showbiz DVD 2. Suggestions plz b4 i waste hours before i find something decent.

I've used Vdub in the past for capture stuff, it's about as user friendly as a pissed off sea urchin, but quite reliable.
