Before I go digging about on the internet, do any 5punkers maintain vent servers and if so how much for a 30 slot server?

We used to use a 100 slot server that belonged to Quintum's company for free. He seems to have disappeared though
I take it the one Fear set up long since went away?

Not asked him. Anyway, I'd assume hobos are using it if it's still running.

Mine is long gone. The Hobo's
teamspeak server is currently run by TraveyB just using his home broadband connection. Works well considering. Not sure it would support 30 though.
You might want to have a look at Mumble (
http://mumble.sourceforge.net/ ) it's an open source version of TS/Vent and supposed to be superior to both. No licensing issues means it should be very much cheaper to run. Both TS and Vent have to be licensed for commercial use.
I've personally used DustWorld (
http://www.dustworld.net/voice_servers.php ) in the past. No problems with them. It would be £7.80 (but minimum order is £10 so you'd have to sign up for 3 months and get 10% discount on top)

Just had a look at mumble, apparently it's no longer active and has more holes than something comprised mainly of holes.
