5punk LAN 2 -Who is interested in going to the LAN and when?

Right, seen as it has been quite a while since we gathered some information on the LAN, i'm gonna start collecting stats again as I need it to help put plans together.
SO! Onto business.
1) Who is DEFINATLY interested in going to the LAN this time, in Birmingham. I'm sorry I can't give you a price yet but I will post one next Thursday (as im completely free from Uni constraints). However, for a guide line, I reckon it won't cost more then 30 pounds for entry, but it's not 100%, so don't quote me on it (I know you see the quote button, but don't you dare, you cheeky scamp).
2)Please also say when the best time for is and highlight it in Red. If you want to mention a time you really really don't want the LAN to be held, just make it bold. (I know we've dont this before, but things may have changed since then.)
Also, personally, I think it's a bad idea to hold the LAN arround the summertime (ie June, July, August, early September) as A) It's very hot and Pc's struggle sometimes. B) Most people won't be interested in staying in a room full of PC's and would rather be outside, say enjoying a cold beverage annd C) i reckon a of people will be on holiday. If you wanna suggest why we should have it around the, please go ahead and do so, as i'm sure there's a couple advantages to the summertime which I haven't thought of.

Get posting.

I would like to come. £30 sounds a good guestimate.
Any time Late-July Onwards would be teriffic.
Mid June to Early July is nasty bad.

I Am Interested (but can't promise)
Late July should be doable
Will also be able to provide a server (though if hawking brings his, that'd be better) I'll also help out in the settings up and stuff

i am of course wanting to get this going and come along.
i might also be able to get networking gear if need be.
i have no real constraints. i suggest a bank holiday weekend, or a school holiday tho that would be handy

I am absolutely interested, after last time when I spent the whole weekend pining over Xfire. It will depend upon the whims of Mrs Pants, but a) she's agreed to let me attend as long as she has decent notice and b) I can dump her at her Mum's in Notts for the duration. Birmingham is easily close enough for this. Date and price are of less importance to this.

But June is a big no-no as I'll be in the States.
Also, I'm less inclined to attend a big lan party that we inhabit a corner of than a more cozy one made primarily of 5punkers.

Late July FTW
I'm up for it, hey it wouldn't be an "official" 5punk LAN Party without me would it

Well April and May are not good for me, late May at a push, June/July should be fine!
Location and price not a problem

Late July is good for me... Do I dare suggest an actual weekend based around working.. *Dares*.. 15th/16th July or 5th/6th August ? My only weekends around then. Don't feel you have to work around me.. but I'd like to be able to join in this time after missing out before.
Edit: Definitely Not before mid-June

Thanks for the responces guys and spread the word as I'll be ringing wednesday.
And of course, this will be mainly 5punk party. I've gave an invitation to some of my Uni friends, who I think you'd get along with just in case the numbers need to be put up.

Agreed, however...
The more people the better, if we get 5 people then it won't be that great to be honest, the last one was good because we
were with a group of other people (from a gaming POV, the more the merrier) so if we find we are low in numbers we either need to to do something to make it more inviting/available to other 5punkers (hopefully the more regular visitors aren't seen as cliquey by the less frequent posters..) or invite randoms/try and find another group of gamers to come along.
Just some thoughts, I would much prefer a big 5punky gang bang though!!

I will not have any vacation time before August, so a trip to the UK will be undoable until then.

Any time after 16th June is pretty much fine for me. July would be preferable.

well, there is a lanarchy lan again - L23. Looks like it will be on the 20th May, in Watford again. I went to the last one recently, and it was great fun.
Put the date in your diaries people!
Also - in my opinion we will need more people than just 5punkers to make a good lan. As numerous as we are i dont think enough will make it. No?

I'm up for it this time, give me plenty of notice and it can be any weekend. I'm very real cash poor at the moment, and it'll stay that way, but I can certainly spring the petrol and entry fee.
I'd much rather it was a 5punk affair too.
When Friz gets back from blowing shit up, I'll ask if he wants to share petrol costs!
I'm quite crap at most games tho...
