to clear the memory stuff up, i've got a mate to write a script to dump bf2's memory usage to file every 30 seconds and will test it on a normal-ish server for the 5punk games (a pretty busy 64 player server)

i'll also log what time the maps load at so we can see if that makes a significant difference to memory usage.

I was referring to teh RAM, although I still don't have BEEF2, Tesco online gave me the rage and has given me a beef aversion complex which prevents me from ever buying it evar*
