Strike at Karkand + Claymores = Win

15 kills in the first 2 minutes by sticking claymores at most heavily used doorways, which resulted in getting a veteran sniper badge (but not a basic explosives badge :? )

Hehe, sounds like fun! Were you just putting them all around the entrances at the bottom end of the city then? Some annoying arse killed me with claymores about 3 or 4 times in the last server I was in. Wasn't you tho!

Hehehe, what I love is that a lot of the time, you're killing the same 3-4 guys running into your claymores...

I like to use the claymores strategically to block off access to really important areas, like houses and such, where you just know the enemy will go to hide while they capture a CP. It's fun to forget you've placed the mine and then like 3 minutes later get a kill.

Whenever I try to put claymores down in heavily used areas, my asshole team mates get hit with them, and they file a complaint...

I've noticed since the last patch I can now drive over AT mines and walk over claymores with no problem if they are friendly, is this a hardwired thing or is it a server option? I don't want to go on to another server, with a different config and find that friendly mines now kill me.

it seems that it was changed in the patch.

Does C4 explode on contact if something runs ito it? I.e. a tank?

The C4 only blows up if the collision is enough to blow up the jeep I think, I don't think they've changed that.

nope. plant C4 on car, switch to detonator. drive.

i thought they changed that, certainly did with claymores
