Watching something proper wierd at the moment. Wierd but brilliant. Its a film called Mirrormask.
Its from Neil Gaiman, the guy who wrote Neverwhere and The Sandman series. He likes the wierd side of things.
If you like things like Tim Burton films, dark, wierd and dreamlike, You'll love this. Quite funny too.
Personal favourite characters: Bob, bob, bob, bob, bob, bob, bob, bob, bob and Malcom.

I like Tim Burton very much, so I'll check this out.
I recommend anything by David Lynch, and Requiem for a Dream by Darren Aronofsky. Not light watching, but excellent films.
Also, Godfather I and II, Heat, Goodfellas, Downfall, the Big Lebowski etc etc are all favourites.
Got around 120 films on DVD or video now. Not a huge collection, but not bad considering I'm a poor student and they're all legit too!
Just picking series 1 - 4 of the Sopranos up now too. Only ever seen the pilot, but it looked good!

Saw that the other day for the first time. Was most entertaining. Kind of a toned down and English Fear and Loathing.

I watched Undead last week and was quite impressed. It's not going to win any awards, not any positive ones, but it was compelling, had zombies and the main zombie killing dude was very entertaining.

I can't wait to see this. I was hoping to see Good Omens (one of my most favouritest books ever by Gaiman and T.Pratchett) made into a film before now (

to Gilliam for abandoning it for the Bros Grimm and anyone who wouldn't fund that), but Mirrormask looks like it'll be highly entertaining.
