It's actually suprisingly easy to play with keys.

I guess it would be once you got used to it, I only played the tutorial. I have 2 360 racing games so can't really be arsed with, analogue controls are much nicer.

The things that bothers me most about keys is having a binary accelerator, it's kind of annoying having it closed or fully open.

You mean that's not how accelerators work? No wonder other drivers hate me.

Do you have a wired Xbox 360 controller/PS3 controller?

Ooh, I have a PS2 adaptor and controller so I shall try that when I get round to installing it.

I picked the car that looks like a Civic, but it felt more like a roller skate. I would point to GT-R, Mafia/GTA, NFS and Trackmania as games which do driving with a keyboard well - this joins The Godfather and Just Cause on how to do it poorly in my view.

Nope. I have a PS2 controller which I use on the PC sometimes, but I couldn't seen an option to use it in the options.

with the xbox controllers, you just have to rebind the keys.

Lat and Spoodiné, I think the controllers should work, is there a joystick option?
If so, you should just be able to go to control panel in Windows and it should find the controller and you just have to map the keys. Depending on how your controllers work, it may do it all automatically.

Lat's worked fine.
there's no wheel/stick/controller option, but you can rebind normal buttons to controller ones.

This game is fucking win. It's lol crash! crack. My major weakness is corners. In the ovals the big danger is Berk and his drafting skills (or lack thereof).

Spent about the last three hours downloading a few hundred Mb of this before DTA decided to reset to 0. I'm not doing that again.
