STOP. IT'S CAIGER TIEM!!!

Calling all Harmanz, The Mall Tour is heading for Caiger Mall, please move to Caiger Mall or one of the surrounding buildings, preferably an adjacent one.

The Zombie hoard is going to cleanse the surrounding 4 districts, yes DISTRICTS before heading to the mall, that means if you are in any place in Chudleyton, Darvall Heights, West Becktown or East Becktown, you will get eaten, the only hope for survival is to enter and defend the mall,

I know many of you are there already, so stock up on ammo, FAK's and syringes.

Here are some generally agreed upon Seige tactics, feel free to add more, comment or criticise:

It is critical to the Seige that Necrotech Buildings remain in our hands, The Latrobe building is the most important as it is adjacent to the malls SE corner and must be held to supply syringes

Barricading:
Except for the mall building itself and nearby NecroTech buildings, do not barricade the mall entrances, St. Isidore's church [23,27], Pagram Library [20, 29], and the warehouse on the north side of the mall [20,26] above very strong. By sealing buildings, you prevent access to the mall so consider keeping other buildings except the mall and attached necrotech building(latrobe) at very strong.

Notice to all survivors attempting to join up with the horses at Caiger- you must have the ability "free running" to gain access to the malls defenses via an adjacent building.
If the barricades are broken and zombs enter, barricade the building up again BEFORE attacking and killing the Zombies who broke through, this will stop even more getting in, once it's safe again kill the Zombies, and very importantly DUMP the bodies back outside!!!,

Combat Reviving should only be used as a last resort, and remember to DUMP the body outside after, a zombie who wakes up as a Harman inside a barricaded building can do some damage.

Try and save syringes for humans who are killed, the tricky part is knowing who to revive, as 5punk we should be fairly safe in revivving each other. Or add people you trust in your building to your contacts list so you can recognise and revive them if they are a zombie.

Don't use up your AP in one go, save some for barricading emergencies, log on as often as possible to check the barricades, if you are in the mall and it's less than Extremely Heavy, barricade!!

Speak. communication will let others know the current situation, like telling everyone that the barricades are going down.

DO NOT RUN AWAY, if people flee in fear it's over, if your building is being attacked, then re-barricade, don't run to another part of the mall or another building, defend it!!

Anything else?

I've set myself up in the Latrobe Building manufacturing syringes and popping into the mall to get meds, also wandering around the mall and adjacent buildings healing anyone that needs it.

We're having a hard time keeping a generator up and running in the Latrobe Building because of saboteurs but replacements usually turn up fast and fuel can be had from one block north.

/edit
A necronet DNA scan as of 14:00 on 31/01, the Latrobe Building is the red spot

I'm in the Latrobe too!

It's a shame we can't see which Dirty Zombie spies keep attacking the Gen :shakefist:

I reckon that group of 57 zombs will be for St Isidores Reviv center, it's gonna be tricky to revive defenders once it's in full swing

I'm lacking in 13exp so I can buy my first skill, which will undoubtedly be Freeeee-Running. Let's hope I can kill something with my bangy sticks before the ZAMBAHz come.

The Zombies are forming coherent attack plans for Caiger, here are their targets

They also seem to have overrun the Revive point at St Isidores

I scouted it earlier, lots of zeds inside but barricaded well at the time. There didn't seem to be much point wasting syringes on the zeds so I ran away again.

erm, there's 150 of the buggers outside one Necrotech Building, and about the same outside St.Isidore's Church (don't be fooled, it's not a revive point anymore). The place will be drowning in zombies before too long. On the plus side it does mean I'm getting to kill hundreds of the swine (coughlevel21cough)

Strangely enough, i was revived outside St.Isidore's :)

after being PK'd and dumped, then infected.

Aye, but there's hundreds of brain rotters amongst the people who are genuinely waiting for revival (as I found one day when I was being helpful and almost got my bollocks chewed off). :shakefist:

I'l level 2 civilian with a few shotgun shells and four bullets.
Will I be of any use, whatsoever? Or should I just leg it?

you will need free-running, and the ablity to barricade to be of any use.

You should come to the mall anyway just for the ride!
Plus one more number on our side

Unless you don't have free running, in which case, RUN!!!

Yeah destroyed just means not barricaded and no humans inside.

That link is very useful, the key points are worth mentioning again:

The Mall Defense Order of Operations. (What to do when you log in to defend the Mall)

1. Check the barricades.
2. Check for zombies inside.
3. Check your health and infection status.

Then:

1. Heal yourself if you're infected and your health will get dangerously low. Count on being attacked while you are active if there are zombies inside (you may not be, but it's best to assume you will), and heal yourself BEFORE you are in immediate risk of dying.

2. If the barricades aren't at max, get them there.

3. Perform triage on any badly-injured fellow survivors. Prioritize by the value of that survivor.

4. NOW kill the zombies.

5. Dump them after they're all dead, if nobody attacks you. If a zombie attacks you, dump him IMMEDIATELY upon killing him.

6. Heal yourself / any other survivors as needed / possible.

7. NOW search for supplies, starting with first-aid kits. Once you have at least one ...

8. THEN do whatever else you need to do (search for ammo/syringes, go work the revive queue, etc.)

COCK!. When trying to run to Caiger, and finding surrounding buildings heavily barricaded, I tried to run back to a safe house.. And.. Well. Didnt make it. The fucking firestation safehouse is extremely-heavy barricaded. Fuckloose.

Don't worry I'm stocked up on syringes, come to the Nec building next to the SE corner of the mall if you need a revive
