Would it be a daft idea to arrange a game for Saturday night? Or will everyone be out socialising? Due to Mrs Goatpod being in the family way our social life is currently on hold (and probably will be for the next 18 years or so.... ) Post here if you're up for it, and if there's enough of us I'll schedule one for the 4th Dec.

Looking at the Poll results we'll probably be playing straight GR with no mods or expansions.

I *may* have...er...procured the addons by then, so i can confirm or deny the level of "dodginess" you can get away with for online play.

if not, im happy with plain vanilla flavoured GR :D

Is late evening ok - around 10pmish (mrs Goatpod has usually retired for the evening by then and I don't have to rush 'round making her blackpudding and ice cream with custard )

(i should point out that the last time i played GR multiplayer was with some mates at uni on a LAN. They sucked HARD. So im unsure as to how good i really am.)

Don't worry about it Joose, if you're ever playing an online game and something resembling a headless chicken legs it across your field of view firing in every direction (but mostly up) it's probaby me.

Doh.. will be one of the socialising people im afraid. Week nights are always a good bet for me!

Hopefully my gold edition will arrive in time. If it does, I will join in the fun, possibly before/during/after being pissed
