Day-to-day POS hauling needs

guys, you've perhaps covered this in chat but as I'm often on in the day rather than the evenings I'd like to clarify;
I can typically haul about 6500 m3 with 3xWCS fitted and am often on in the quiet hours (early morn / after DT) so I'm thinking of setting up a hauling routine. Any advice? A simple set of directives might enable me and others to do some effective ad hock hauling, but I don't know how all this stuff works and don't want to waste a morning hauling rocks instead of mins.
- 1. POS needs fuel from Berta. This bit I think I understand, just grab some any time I'm heading out there.
2. The POS mines rock, this gets refined at the POS. Is this correct and is it automatic, or does the rock need to be moved over to another hopper / refining array thingy?
3. The finished product is mins. Where will these be (refinery array / hanger array etc?) and where do they need to be trucked to?
4. How about mined mins, they need hauling too?
5. Are refined mins too valuable to risk on an unsupported haul? I typically haul with secure containers in the hold, but this is of course no guarantee if I get hit.
