now _that_ will be an issue with stuff.

hit ctrl + p, goto plug-ins > output > make sure directsound is selected

hit configure

hit the "other" tab, and make sure volume control is enabled.

also make sure smooth volume changes is checked, and that the volume control is set to linear

and the volume issue after buffering:

Allow hardware acceleration was checked (in plugins>output>directsound) unchecking it fixed the volume problems

I find that winamp crashes occasionally either when pausing and unpausing a song or when switching to a different song and i have to end task and load it up again to fix it. Anyone else having that problem?
