Anyone who uses anything other than the gravity gun in that is a god damned fool, I don't care who they are. Other things may be far for effective at killing stuff, but they're just nowhere near as fun.
It's incredibly satisfying launching a car over a mound of rubble to have it land on someone's head.
I spend most my time in the Overwatch level pushing cars around the streets and trying to throw them in to people. I'm very crap at it though, but I don't care. Killing 3 people with one car with a couple of blasts of your zero point energy manipulator, fantastic stuff!

It would seem that the Xfire guys are busy working at adding HL2 DM as an additional supported game in Xfire.
At the moment I think it may appear to others that you are playing CS:Source instead of HL2 DM, but this should either be sorted by this afternoons update, or more likely next weeks.
If this is the case should it be supported on 5punk sepearately to CS:Source, and have it's own Half Life 2 forum?
If so, do you think I can kill off one of the less popular games on 5punk?

I dunno if It would be popular enough for it, really.
This is just my opinion here, but we've got 12 games forums, and I think not enough fo them get enough activity as it is.
Maybe we should concentrate on some of the mroe popular ones for now, atleast until there are more members here who participate. People might be more encourage to join in or something, if the community feels a bit "tighter" (oo-er).
The number of games compared to the number of people participating at present makes this place seem somewhat, well, sparse/unused.
Another thing is, now we have a game scheduler, there's less need for specific forums, seen as you no longer need them to organise a game, and there's probably not much else to be said for them that couldn't just go into some kind of miscellaneous forum.
Stop me if I'm being a bit of a twat.

All of the above (edit: previous page...) makes sense.
I think any HL2 deathmatch disscussion fits into the Counter Strike forum, or maybe it should change to 'Steam Games' forum.
Maybe leave it for a while and see if new members increase activity in the less popular forums. Or WEY can put his dictator hat on and start ethnic cleansing

I agree that the more forums there are, the less active it looks.
The only problem is, by reducing all the games into just a "First Person Shooter forum", or a "MMO forum" I will be taking away the moderator status from a number of people, plus I will have to work out some way of organising all the stickies for download locations/patches/faq's etc.
I wouldn't want to upset the mod's, as most of them have done really good jobs, but at the same time I wouldn't want the forums to look empty.
I think for the time being I may kick Star Wars Battlefront in the fuck, and possibly AVP2, however I will leave them as supported games, and in the 5cheduler, just incase people feel the need to have some old school facehugging action
Any more suggestions/comments are welcome.
