I've been picking up a few now. Does anyone know how to reifne them, and if so is it worth it?

Name a few?
Some of them can be used by blacksmiths to enchant a weapon to a certain element, eg. Fire based stones can make a sword extremely good against plant type monsters. Archers can refine the stones into a particular type of arrow, in the same way.

If they're the red/yellow/blue gems though; priests, sages and wizzards can use those to cast specific spells.

I have a fire one, an earth one and 4 water. A few blue gems as well. Shall I keep them for 5punkers who can use them?

Was thinking about setting up a "Selling" thread.
See how much they sell for at an NPC, then put your own profit ontop of it, and sell it to a 5punker. Chances are it'll be cheaper than finding or buying one, so both of you'll make a profit.
