Thats good, it's not just me. I was getting worried the uni network had done something. I am a swordsman at the moment.

How does one "aquire" Faith? Can I buy it in a shop somewhere?

I decided pretty much straight away what I wanted. I was torn between Swordsman and Acolyte, so Grimmie suggested Monk as a mixture of both. I did waver for a while and thought about Priest, but decided to stick with the plan.

I think in order to be a Priest you need to be Job level 40 (standard for all second stage characters) and do the task set for you by the Priest bloke who lives in the Church at Pr0ntera (left hand door in the entrance corridor). IIRC it involves reaching somewhere without picking up any "temptations" (presumably money, items, Spicy Yoda Heads etc..)
