No profession in Ragnarok

So I just went through the little tutorial thing, and got to the point where it says to pick a class. I took the test thing to see what I'm best suited at, and I said I didn't want to follow the recomendation. When I got to the main list, I reaized that I DID want to follow the recomendation, which was not part of the list, and so I hit cancel. When talking to the guy again, he just teleported me to town. So basically the question is, is there a way for me to get the profession back, or do I need to start over again?

When talking to the guy, no matter what you eventually choose, it doesnt put the chosen profession on concrete, you can be whatever you want to be, no matter what you originally said. If you tell me what you want to be, I can hop in and take you to the proper town, or you can walk there yourself
Just make sure you're at Job level 10, and Basic Skill level 9 (As seen in the skills window, Alt+S), and you'll be able to apply for any job you want

Hahaha, like so many who've gone before you. That guy who does the personality tests would make a shit salesman.

With GM Cheaty powers?
Yes. But it's more fun doing it the old fashioned way, and truth be told only takes 20-25 minutes to do.

Yeah, it only took me about an hour from starting to install the game to having my Job, probably cos Grimmie has nicely ramped up the rate at which experience is gained
Still, it might be a while before I get to my second job level... Knight here I come!! (Job level 40 I think...)

'Should have seen the palava we went through to get Jinxx his wizzardy powers. We struggled (Yes.. We both went into the test room) to kill everything in less than three minutes, especially the final creatures when are immune to regular attacks. Bah!
Hunter test was difficult too - weaving in and out of a floor with lots of traps and holes in it, all the while being hit and beaten by skelletons, zombies, ghouls and archer types. I was only allowed to kill monsters marked with a certain name - and no one else. Then find a switch, and an exit. Within a time limit. The certainly make you work for it!

Harsh
I'm assuming the Knights test will be to lock me in a room with a billion wolves and 30 seconds to kill them all using only my elbows

I think it's good that they make you work for your second profession. You can grind your way to level 40, but to pass the tests takes a bit more mastery and maybe a few more levels.

So you're going to go for the Knight? I'm going to go for the Crusader, purely for the fact I want to be able to chuck my shield at things.

And remember, our resident merchant, who will eventually be a blacksmith, will be able to custom-forge you a super-strong weapon.
