I finally got round to getting orange box. I didn't get it before cos i thought it was daft when i already have HL2 and Ep1, but i really wanted portal and wanted to check out teef so i thought i might as well get it.

I LOVED portal, just wish it was longer

I started playing teef today, but havent got the hang of the different classes and stuff yet so would like some friendly laid back games so when does everyone play usualyy?

Teef is wednesday night, check the 5chduler for games.

And now you see why we raved about the Orange Box, it's 111% win.

Yeah, we usually have games scheduled for Wednesday night, but they don't seem to last very long these days.

:above: :(

I enjoy Teef, before audiocrack came out I had a 5 hour stint on the badlands map and I didn't get bored because it was all shiny and new. People (myself included) normally just give in and Cod because it's too damn good to resist.

:above: No it's not, it's just a few people (Berk ) who tend to leave for CoD after 5 minutes and the others hop on the bandwagon.

I try to play TEEF as long as possible, despite preferring COD a lot, because other people need enough of us to play. Last wednesday I stuck around until there was only three of us left, but usually I get bored after about 15 minutes.

I had a bit of a go on the new map with Slinger yesterday, and it looks balanced (given that it's symmetrical) if somewhat hard to defend. All turret spots seem too exposed to rockets/snipers. Also, it looks like it needs a fair number of players to be any good since there are a lot of routes through. I'd be interested to give it a proper play on a full server though.

Yeah good engineer spots are hard to find on badlands, but overall I think it's a great map.
