I'm Pulling My Hair Out

I'll be brief
Bought External HD, RTFM, Plugged it in, XP installed it, XP says your device is ready to go, I can use it through Admin Tools (however it's a pain) But yet no Icon in My Computer. PLEASE HELP.

What happens if you type H: in the location bar?
edit: Also, Google suggests reassigning its drive letter (from Computer Management)

In computer management change the drive letter of the new drive to Z or something not near the others.

Cheers FJ, I has applied it.
As for the drive, I'd unplug the camera, unload any faux drives created by daemon and then give it a new letter.

I wasn't aware that HDD's actually possessed a manual of any description.
I think bobbins may have solved it, burn the manual after drawing crude slurs on it in crayon, that should fix the drive.

That. When I want to access a computer on the LAN I have to manually type it into the location bar because Fags XP doesn't seem to realize it should add them to the network places folder.
