I just got crysis included with my new graphics card and when i put the disk in and the autorun pops up it only gives me the option of German Turkish or Russian language to install :S
anyone else heard of this problem and know how to fix it?

Hmm, weird. How do you know it's only giving you those languages? Surely it's primary install is in english? Ias there not an option to click next without picking a language at all so it deefaults to english?
If not, I'd probably

the english language .pak parts of it from the interwebs and slap those in the right files, that might work.

Sorry, that's unfortunate and funny. At least you didn't pay to have a copy of
forren crysis. I'd suggest sweeping the missing pieces, just open it up in your favoured torrent manager and select only the bits you want to be d/l'd, might take you a while to find one that isn't merely an image though.

well technically i did pay, cos the version of the graphics card with crysis was about £20 more than the same card without the game

Ooh, gutted. Where was it from, ocuk?
Install it in german, then see if you can sort out a language change
I've had a quick googlage, but most of the faults forums and tribbleshooting threads are all about the haxxors and the fact that crysis makes most pc's cry like a little bitch, little else other than people with really crap systems complaining. One guy was on a p4 2.4 with 1 Gb of ram and he'd just 'upgraded' his gpu to an 8500gt (an utterly fail card), and he was wondering why he had graphics anomalies, the twunt.

i've looked on the disk and there doesn't even seem to be an english cab file most bizarre

Email to supplier time. If you're meant to get a uk version (which I guess you are) then I'd kick up a fuss and demand a replacement disk that was english, and p&p on the rma as well. Mind you, they might ask you to return the card as well as crysis.
Maybe sweep the whole thing, and use your legit cd key, until then, have fun in russian multiplayer!
I'd email first and see what they say. Could also try crysis forums, don't bother looking for a topic on a similar subject, just post a new topic in troubleshooting and wait for someone to go 'uuuh dickwad, we covered this in this topic' or similar, save you trolling with their useless search function.

rang overclockers and they said i'm not the first. guess they got a batch from their supplier with only foreign game discs.
they said to send them a webnote and they would let me know what they are doing

Well I guess it's something. hopefully they'll just send you a replacement copy!

See, I'd just install in German*, then do what Pete said and install the language files from a Swept copy.
Hmm, thinking about it, Don't pick German, the sensorship might be tied into the language choice, pick Russian.

they are sending me a new copy, can't be bothered installing in Russian, also worried i won't be able to get rid of it to install the english version

I recommend Russian. Quite a pleasant language.
